A new addition to the history of Insomnia tournaments, Crysis2 brings PC melting graphics & complex gameplay to PC multiplayer gamers everywhere. This tournament will run ahead of i42, giving you the chance to win free tickets to the event!

Tournament Completed!
After some delays, some patches and some very funny moments in IRC we are pleased to say that the Crysis 2 Online tournament is completed. We would like to extend a massive thank you to all who participated and were very understanding regarding the format and game itself. It was an uphill struggle but after some glorious kills and some maximum entertainment we have our winners!In order of maximum succes here are your winners:

Tournament Postponed!
Due to all the issues which are still present in Crysis 2 after its launch we are going to postpone the tournament by 1 week until next Thursday 7th April starting at 7pm BST.There are patches coming that address both server and user side issues so hopefully within the next few days we will be able to test and play on a much more stable copy of the game. This does, however, give you more time to signup so scroll down and follow the signup guide! We will keep you posted with any other updates regarding Crysis 2 and the Multiplay Online Tournament.

Tournament News and Schedule
Currently the tournament is scheduled to be run on the Thurs 31st March and Thurs 7th April beginning at 7pm GMT each night.
The tournament structure is 6v6, Single Elimination, Crash Site, Bo3.
Matches will be played on one map per round until the grand finals where the winner will be decided in a best of 3 maps contest.

Sign-ups will be open until 2 hours prior to each competitions start time.
The schedule is as follows:
Thurs 7th April:
Round 1: 7pm BST
Round 2: 8pm BST
Round 3: 9pm BST
grand Finals: 10pm BST
Grand Finals: Decided by finalists (Can be played at 10pm BST but is Bo3 so reschedule is available)

Signup Guide
1) Create a Multiplay account if you do not have one: https://www.multiplay.co.uk/account/new – make sure you verify with the Authorisation e-mail!
2) Log in here with your Multiplay Login: http://tournaments.multiplay.co.uk/signups
3) Create a new team in the left hand box with “Not Entered” written in by typing in the name of the team into the box. Click Save in the bottom left. If you already have a team signed up (a friend/team mate has completed this step) then skip to the step below.
4) If you already have a team entered select that team in the right hand box that has “Not Entered” in it. This box is a drop down menu where you will be able to select your team, if previously created. Select your team, click save in the bottom left.
5) You are signed up! Keep regular tabs on the News page as it will come with updates regarding teams, scheduling, match times, delays, news etc.
6) Play some Crysis 2 at the designated times
