Welcome to the Tournaments section! This section is one your one stop shop for all information on the tournaments running at the event, also any pre event qualifiers that we run on-line.

Each tournament is listed below, allowing you sign-up, read tournament rules, view your matches and find out all of the results. Each tournament is of a particular tournament type.

BYOC

BYOC is simply “Bring your own Computer” or “Bring your own Console”. This means you must own a BYOC Ticket, and must play the tournament from your own computer/console with your own copy of the game. These are expected to span several days.

TUP

TUP means “Turn Up and Play” and means that we will supply the game, and console/computer for you to play your tournament games in. These will be supplied only for the duration of any tournament matches however. These could also span several days. If you are under the BBFC rated age limit for a TUP tournament game, you must attend as a BYOC participant using your own copy of the game.

PAYG

PAYG means “Pay As You Go” and these tournaments have an entry fee. This entry fee will usually go 100% back into the prize pot. These tournaments often last only 1 day.

F2P

F2P is “Free 2 Play” and these tournaments are designed for people coming on a spectator ticket and wanting to have a try to win something in a quick tournament. These will usually span only a few minutes or hours, and feature fun prizes from exhibitors and/or Multiplay.

This page will help you figure out when things are happening. Just cross reference the tournament you are going to enter, with another tournament you wish to take part in, and the coloured square will inform you whether you can take part.

Make sure you have VIEWR running during the weekend to be alerted to updates that might come out during the event, especially regarding tournaments.

Team Fortress 2

Welcome to the Team Fortress 2 Cup, supported by Aquatuning, tournament page!

If you were not there for Insomnia46′s TF2 extravaganza then you missed out on the biggest LAN in TF2 history! Around 1 million people tuned in to see what the US and EU teams had to offer, and everyone at the LAN itself had the best seats in the house!

With Insomnia47 the tournament was a more social affair, with the Winter event always being the smaller of the three. Heading into Spring with the help of Aquatuning once more we expect the tournament to come back to life as a competitive tournament.

ShootMania Tournaments

Welcome to ShootMania tournament page for Insomnia48!

The next set of tournaments with Nadeo’s awesome arena shooter is going to be huge – returning with the ever exciting Elite mode in a 3v3 format, and also a 1v1 joust tournament for the solo players out there, there is plenty for everyone to get their teeth into. Make sure you don’t miss out! Each tournament will run for one day (Friday 1v1, Saturday 3v3) and both finals will be on Sunday morning as the opening final on the main stage!

The great thing about these tournaments, is the game is now in open beta, so everyone can get involved before the official launch!

The prize pool between the two tournaments is a whopping £1,800!

Razer League of Legends Cup

Welcome to the the Razer League of Legends Cup page for Insomnia48.

Once again we put teams of 5 against each other with some awesome League of Legends tournament action. Grab your friends and face off against other keen opponents and see if you can win some cash and Razer swag at the biggest BYOC LAN in the UK!

With a minimum prize pool of £2,500 up until we have 39 teams signed up, and scaling all the way up to £5,000 if a 64 team bracket is achieved, and several prize triggers on the way, its worth signing up and just having a go, with plenty of LoL action for you and your team to enjoy.

All players participating must have at least 16 champions unlocked to be able to participate.

Welcome to the Mad Catz S.T.R.I.K.E Challenge CS:GO tournament pages!

Insomnia47 saw the first CS:GO event to hit the UK after taking the reigns from CS:S, and insomnia48 is looking to continue where that left off, with Mad Catz offering some immense prizes for the winners. Welcome to the Multiplay Black Ops 2 Xbox Cup page! Here you can find out all you need to know about taking part in our Black Ops 2 tournament at Insomnia48.

Insomnia47 saw the COD Xbox community turn to the latest title released in the series, Black Ops 2, and needless to say it was a huge hit. Ncontrol.Visions took the title this time round, beating 3 time consecutive finalists Prophecy in the process. As the interest grows and more teams come to claim glory, there is everything to play for. We are pleased to announce that the minimum prize pool for this tournament is £4,000, increasing when team levels reach 36 teams or more!

Welcome to the FIFA13 tournament pages! Here you will find out about the FIFA tournaments at Insomnia48.

After the huge success of the FIFA13 1on1 tournament as previous events, we’ve made the decision to give £1,000 with, triggers increasing it from that point.
