As most of us know, we had the biggest TF2 final EVER at insomnia46, with the community banding together to bring over some of the finest that the USA has to offer, and if you’d like to watch Classic Mixup and Leviathan Gaming battle it out again, then here it is! A big congratulations to Classic Mixup for winning the TF2 tournament!
This final saw both teams (Classic Mixup and Leviathan Gaming) fly from America and this wouldn’t be possible without the outstanding TF2 community. This is the first time in iseries history that we have had any TF2 teams from outside of Europe and we are very happy that they could take part.
Both teams prior to the final won all of their matches, with Classic Mixup and Leviathan Gaming meeting in the Double Elims Upper Final where Classic Mixup won 2-0. Whilst Classic Mixup were favourites to win, both teams pulled off an outstanding performance resulting in the game going into three maps (cp_gravelpit, cp_gullywash and cp_badlands). Leviathan Gaming had a very good defense throughout the three maps and it really could have been anyone’s game. At times, Classic Mixup would wipe out LG’s team causing some very early and quick caps. Leviathan Gaming didn’t so much hesitate as they held a very strong side throughout the game.
Classic Mixup take home £2,500 and Leviathan Gaming take £1,000. Well done to all players who took part and hopefully we will have a bigger TF2 tournament at the next few events!
After a weekend of entertaining Minecraft activity supported by ESET and bequiet! we have some winners!
Hunger Games (supported by bequiet!)
60 players tried… only one survived!
A strong showing in the grand final of the Hunger Games tournament saw our victor Yannick absolutely dominate his opponents. He killed 4 of the 8 players that took part on our main stage, and never looked like losing during an epic 30 minute showdown. Fully equipped and super aggressive, Yannick looked scary, and earned himself £100 + some awesome bequiet! gear (CPU Cooler, power supply unit and case fan). Second place went to CrimsonSkull, who won £50, and 3rd place was Lazyfaith who scored £25.

52 players took part in three qualifiers, in a brutal battle to knock the floor out from opponents feet and be the last man standing.
The grand final had our 3 champions from Friday, Saturday and Sunday – Killakat, Stygium and Yannick. This time is was not Yannick’s turn to win, as Killakat and Stygium came top in points. Here is how the scored ended up (2 for 1st, 1 for 2nd, 0 for 3rd each round):
As you can see it was called on the total number of wins in the end. So close! Congratulations to Killakat on winning £100 and an Android tablet from ESET! Stygium won £50 and Yannick won £25.
Parkour (supported by ESET)
Over 300 players attempted our Parkour courses during the weekend, with just over 100 completing the course and registering times.
These three contenders then ran a live race across ALL 3 courses that were used during the weekend. Henrz (Total time: 6:20 minutes) took the first place, winning £100 and an Android Tablet thanks to ESET. Alorzees (Total time: 6:40 minutes) took home £50 and Jakehall (Total time 7:32 mins) £25. Nice work guys!
Creative Build (supported by bequiet!)
And the big one!
The Minecraft Creative Build took part over 3 days of building, where players were challenged to build something EPIC for our judges to give scores and announce a winner! 47 players took part and here is how the final standings ended up:
Team [MM] won themselves awesome bequiet! gear (CPU Cooler, power supply unit and case fan) and £100, Legit Grillbusterz won £50 and Clan Spam won £25.

Congratulations to Vardy who won the UT2K4 tournament at insomnia46! He was the favourite to win, but Dipso had many chances and some amazing shots to end Vardy’s killing sprees. The top three players (Vardy, Dipso and Wench) all go home with prizes courtesy of Epic Games.
