Counter Strike Source Qualifier starts at 8pm BST tonight! Make sure you idle in #insomnia-css by using this link or your own IRC client.
Signups close at 7pm BST. Fixtures should be online by 7:30-8pm. There might be a slight delay on the start of the first game, but make sure you are checking the site from the start time onwards.
Keep an eye on this news post for any major updates, if you cannot decide on a server to play on via the ESL tournament system, then you can request a server by speaking to the admins in the channel above. Admins for this first evening will be: beefCake, Gumpster, messioso, Harribo and Kharne. The first 2 rounds are Best of 1, so maps are chosen by the ESL tournament system. Once again the massive Insomnia Online Qualifier tournament is upon us, starting tomorrow night at 8pm BST. Once again we get to that time, Counter Strike Source is still going strong at Insomnia, despite the imminent arrival of Global Offensive. Our partners ESL are hosting our massive online qualifier tournament for Insomnia46 once again, and this time, it will take place throughout the month of July. The Insomnia45 online qualifiers attracted 148 teams, with CRYSTAL-SERV coming out with the win and ended up in the 5th-8th final position at the LAN tournament.
Prizes this time around consist of not two, but THREE sets of tickets to Insomnia46. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams will be granted tickets for 5 players to attend Insomnia46 in our CSS BYOC (Bring your own computer) hall and skip the group stages on the Friday of the event. Thats £1,605 worth of prizes for this online tournament! Top 3 teams will also determine their seed relative to each other at the LAN tournament, so fighting for first place is still worth your time!
