Insomnia65 | The UK's Biggest Gaming Festival

The Ubisoft Experience is the place where we can all meet up and celebrate our love of gaming together.

Join us on 24th-25th August at NEC Birmingham to play some of our new games, meet our teams and developers, learn more about your favourite games and, most of all, share your passion with other members of the Ubisoft community.

Attendees will have the opportunity to try upcoming titles, including the first UK public hands-on for Ghost Recon Breakpoint, and brand-new gameplay content for Roller Champions, the fierce and fun PvP sports game, announced at E3. The line-up will also offer numerous other unique experiences, celebrating a wide variety of Ubisoft franchises, including Assassins Creed, Just Dance, Rainbow Six Siege and more.

Watch Dogs Legion will be showcased on the main stage for the first time in the UK with live demonstrations from lead studio, Ubisoft Toronto. Attendees will have also have the opportunity to meet  Ubisoft’s development teams with exclusive talks and panels.  Highlights will include a presentation from Aymar Azaïzia, from the Assassin’s Creed team at Ubisoft Montreal, who will be on hand to discuss the ever-growing universe of the historic franchise.  Guest can even lace up their roller skates on a custom-built Roller Champions Roller Disco, which features live music.

100% of ticket sales of this event go to Special Effect, a charity that uses specialist technology to enhance the quality of life of people of all ages who have severe physical challenges, whether as a result of disability, traumatic injury or debilitating illness.

Ubisoft will still be bringing a stand to the Insomnia Expo containing UK exclusive first plays of titles such as Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Just Dance 2020 and more! For more information head over to our expo page!

Why do I need to pay extra for the Ubisoft Experience?

The Ubisoft Experience is a “show-within-a-show” at Insomnia65 containing exclusive showcases, experiential interactive activities, stage shows and panels with Ubisoft developers that otherwise wouldn’t have been at the event. All content that Ubisoft would have brought to Insomnia will still be available on their stand as a part of the main Expo. All money made from ticket sales will be going to Special Effect.

Will Ubisoft still be present at the Insomnia Expo?

Ubisoft will still have a stand on the Insomnia Expo featuring hands-on with the latest titles. No content that would have been a part of the Ubisoft Expo stand will be locked behind a paywall. More information on what Ubisoft will bring to the Insomnia Expo can be found here.

What time does The Ubisoft Experience open?

The UbiXP will open at 2PM on the Insomnia show floor and will be clearly signed as well as incorporated into the map on the Insomnia App. After you have received your UbiXP wristband you are free to enter and exit the Ubisoft Experience as you wish.

What time does The Ubisoft Experience close?

The UbiXP will be open until 11PM. After the main Insomnia show closes at 6PM, you will still be able to access The Ubisoft Experience until it closes.

Will I miss anything if I only go to one day of The Ubisoft Experience?

The content at UbiXP will be the same on both Saturday and Sunday. You have the choice to attend both days of the event however you will not miss anything by attending one day and not the other.

I have already purchased a ticket for The Dark Room, can I get a refund or exchange for The Ubisoft Experience?

Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds/exchanges for The Dark Room, however as mentioned above, the content in the UbiXP will not change so everyone is encouraged to attend on the Saturday instead.

What games will be available to play and what experiences will I be able to participate in?

All information about The Ubisoft Experience can be found here. This will be updated with new information as it becomes available!
